In early 2003 Brad was getting ready for a West-PAC (a 6 month deployment) so while gearing up for the deployment and the pending separation we did a lot of “family” stuff. One little excursion took us to Sea Life Park on the Windward side of O’ahu.
While still in Hawaii, we had a cute little dog named Charlie, but only for a few months. To the best of our knowledge, Charlie was a husky/German Shepherd mix that we got from the Hawaiian Humane Society.
I ended up giving Charlie to a great home, because I got pregnant with Ryan and was having a hard time taking care of him because of my morning sickness. Brad was at sea which made it especially difficult.
