I just got home from Hawaii on Sunday. Go to turn on my beloved computer, and it’s very sluggish and freezes. I hard booted it only to have the hd fail and now it doesn’t work at all.

I seriously want to cry and go hide in a corner forever. Not really but I am desperate to figure out how to retrieve my data. I’ve tried everything and currently have the drive in a bag in my freezer. Hopefully that works. If not I’ll be sending it off to a place and spending several hundred to get my data back.

There isn’t that much on there that I am too worried about except the last known pictures of my parents together this past Christmas. Considering my dad has now left my mom it’s very important to me to get those back.

I also have some work files I’d like to save. Lots of photoshop templates that I have spent too many hours working on to just have disappear into the nether.

I also have to reinstall everything on this new hd which really sucks ass. On the up side, this new drive is 500GB and my last was only 160GB, so I have plenty of room now!
